Millerstown Fire Department & Mutual Companies Battle House Fire on the 707 Box

This morning at 0830 hours Millerstown Fire Department, Millerstown Ambulance League, Liverpool Fire Rescue, Newport Fire Department and Duncannon Fire Company were dispatched for a residential structure fire. MFD Fire Police Captain M Yates arrived on scene and advised a Fully involved structure. Chief 7 advised County Dispatch to go 2nd Alarm. Yates also saved 3 cats from the fire. Juniata Co units Thompsontown Volunteer Fire Company No. 8, Richfield Fire Department, Mifflintown Hose Co #1 and Delaware Fire Department were all called to the scene. Additional units New Buffalo, Marysville, New Bloomfield, Ickesburg Fire. Multiple companies did transfers from Snyder Co and Dauphin Co. We apologize if we missed any companies. Fantastic work done by all, Millerstown Fire Department would like to Thank our Ladies Auxiliary for the quick response bringing drinks and Supporting Our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania for drinks and pizza.
